Democrats are going to keep losing blacks until they stop being racist and actually learn about them. O'Rourke going after church tax exemption if they do not support gay marriage is a horrible idea for them as blacks love their churches and are not big supporters of gays. You picked up on an interesting point - liberal policy becomes conflicted and unequitable often resulting in a very narrow policy affecting a broad majority in a negative manner. Their policies actually hurt more than they help. People are not buying their BS anymore thus their urgency to restructure elections, court/legal system and the economy. They are attempting to call everything racist in an attempt to gain support for radically changing the power structure in their favor.
