And despite Ronnie Regan. At lest some were real christians. But Reagan did everything he could to lie about and distort the AIDS Epidemic back then. Every death from this should be laid at his feet. Oh, and when Pence had a AIDES epidemic in his state , he botched it so bad they wrote a HOW NOT TO book on his actions. No wonder Trump choose him for the Covid Cesar.

Thanks for the great post. Yes, some of us Catholics believe in doing works of mercy as we were taught by the words of Jesus. No human should ever suffer because the Church has a differing opinion about a persons choices.

Interesting article. I can't say I agree with it...
Article Quote: “Even though I'm comfortably gay and comfortably Catholic, I still have a hard time kind of talking about that,” he says. “And then to set out to write an entire book with a premise sort of covering those topics, I was a bit daunting, but ultimately I'm glad that I did.”

It appears this person is on a mission to get the Catholic Church to change it’s stance on marriage being between a woman and a man. This article also doesn’t mention that Aids probably was spread more by drug use than homosexuality. I have a childhood friend who was Catholic and is gay, he had to decide how he wanted to live his life. He does very well.

At the end of the day, I don’t believe it’s right for some to ask a religion to change their core beliefs for their inclusion. Maybe they just need to find a religion that accepts them for who they are.

We need to remember the definition for “freedom of association”: The freedom of association simply means that a person has the right to associate, not with whomever he chooses, but with whoever is willing to associate with him. Inherent in the right to associate is the right not to associate. Any person has the right not to associate with whomever he chooses.
