It is no surprise that in his first national assembly testimony as Chief of staff of the French armed forces, Gen. Thierry Burkhard in October forcefully stressed the necessity for France to ‘’win the war before the war’’ and to be ready for high intensity warfare.
How that actually happens, of course, is the bigger question.
The current 2019-2025 program law, meant to catch up with the renewal of French armed forces equipment across the board, has been considered by many to be a good start towards refocusing France’s military.

In my view this is all about weakening their armed forces not strengthening them..., but hey, the world economic forum is driving most of this, with far left leaders...

The only equipment the French Army seems to need is more white handkerchiefs.

The only time France wants to do anything or asks for any help is when they have to serve wine to a German general on the street café as panzers are rolling down the street...then it is important to them...
