There are a number of LaGrange Points in space, around all large Celestial objects like the Sun and the Earth... Lagrange Points L4 and L5 are the most stable, but L1, L2, & L3 are in the unstable zone, so why is the JWST going to orbit Lagrange Point L2? That my Brothers and Sisters is the purpose of this short video... It is fundamentally a simple reason, explained nicely herein...
(NOTE - I had a typing issue on the L1, L2, & L3 Points, which are in the Unstable Zone) I fixed it...

Looks like 1) it’s the closest direct line to earth (and away from the sun), and 2) no Trojans or dust clouds (unlike L4 and L5).
