Call me naive but I'll hang on to what the AG said yesterday. They start with the low hanging fruit and investigate the more serious stuff. I'm sure the public testimony that's coming will open the eyes of some, but unfortunately those who really need to see/hear it won't.

January 6, pressure on state election officials, pressure on pence, 60+ cases, the support of GOP politicians, pressure on the DOJ, GOP fake news outlets, GOP supporters, and Trump's actions shows that this did not occur in a vacuum. There was a political apparatus heavily involved with the coup attempt. Thus far there has been no accountability for a coup attempt.
The GOP must decide if they want to follow Trump's lies or the truth. The GOP supporters are a big reason why we have so many political fires in the country.

SGT (Join to see) - What is crazy is Trump wants absolute control and many of his supporters supported the coup attempt. He wanted dictatorial powers to include an attempt to negate the tenets of the constitution and democracy in a dictatorial move to steal the election. Democracy should be sacred. We fought a war to rid ourselves of the British, and here comes Trump who became a domestic enemy to democracy by trying to be a dictator and a tyrant. There is no forgiveness for anyone involved in the sordid attempt to steal the election.
I expect Trump supporters to state the truth are lies and the GOP lies are truths. They will make any excuses in their attempt to prove their party is right.
The supporters will often repeat the party line with no critical analysis. For example, for months the GOP supporters spewed the narrative that Trump did a good job preparing for the pandemic by restricting some travel and the Democrats screamed xenophobia. For many months they reiterated this stupidity. They had no clue what right looked like, but that did not stop them from saying silly things about the pandemic planning. They did not know shit.
