He should!
Let me put this in perspective, in 1980 I arrived in Turkey for a one year remote shortly after a coup attempt. I was at a Turkish Air Base and it turned out that all the provincial participants of the coup were in jail on the base where I was. The majority remained in jail the entire time I was there but I do recall a couple trials and guilty verdicts.

SrA John Monette Sorry, I understand "innocent until proven guilty" but the more we learn everyone of them are exactly where they belong until their trials.

This is a perfect example of intel failure. I don’t believe for one second that the FBI or other Federal Agency was unaware of what (organized groups) these type entities were up to.

This is a failure on many fronts, all leading to intel, the lack thereof, and Law Enforcement not being ramped up. These failures are at the leadership level. Sone of these people were lemmings in sort, who fell in and ran with the crowed, thinking this was all ok, well lit wasn't, and by God all of them save a handful are adults, those with deliberate intention and those that were simply swept up in it all. Tge deserve punishment at the appropriate level separating them by intention.

I am an independent and do not understand why anyone thinks this was like the actions throughout the US in the past two year. While their intentions were different they committed criminal acts. They all should be tried. I apologize for the rant

Oh I don't think it was an intel failure. You forget who was the leader, the Intel was there but ignored due to top down directives.

That’s false. Pelosi wasn’t in charge of Capital security. It’s be proven time and time again, yet the right keeps trying to make the case.

“Capitol Police spokesperson John Stolnis told USA TODAY that the agency is overseen by the Capitol Police Board. Several congressional committees also oversee the agency, including the House and Senate appropriations committees, the House administration commitee and the Senate rules committee.

The Capitol Police Board is made up of the House and Senate sergeants-at-arms, as well as the Capitol architect. The Capitol Police chief serves in a non-voting capacity on the board, according to the Capitol Police website.

Pelosi was not a chair or administrator of any committee supervising the Capitol Police at the time of the insurrection. She's not listed on any of those committees' websites today, either. “
