The Marine Corps said on Thursday that it had discharged hundreds of Marines for refusing to get the coronavirus vaccine as mandated by the military.
The latest actions, which came as COVID-19 cases began to ebb across the country after the omicron surge, brought the total number of Marines booted out of the service for vaccine refusal to 469.

Chip, that standard has been around since before 1973. If your shots are not up to date, then you are non-deployable. The Army over past 4-5 years has shit canned thousands of non-deployable troops.

These troops weren't discharged for refusing any old vaccine. They likely got all the other shots EXCEPT for the COVID vaccine. There is a distinction.
