I really dislike the current policies and direction of the Biden administration. That said, I think it is a pretty long leap to try and lay the blame for police killings at their [Biden Administration] door. All three of the "causes" listed in the articles are outside of President Biden's control. I particularly think it is nonsense to claim his rhetoric is to blame. People do not watch President Biden and say to themselves "President doesn't care if I kill a cop. So today, I'm gonna."

Crime increases when people feel they have nothing to lose, or the gain outweighs the risks. Want cop killings to stop. Catch cop killers. Prosecute them. Sentence them to the maximum penalty under the law and do it quick. That is a local [State, county, city] responsibility.

Delusional Corrupt Racists Coward Joe and the other Hypocrats (Democrats) are all responsible. Most of this is the direct result of their “defund the police” crap, bailing out criminals, and soft on crime stance. Just look at all the Hypocrat ran cities and a majority are high crime.

SrA John Monette - I've included a link that speaks to your question indirectly. The web site is new to me so I will not speak to its credibility. I was unable to find any assessments of their bias/lack thereof, or the factual accuracy of their reporting. However, their methodology appears fact based and relatively free of analytical opinion/bias.

I will say that I don't think that red state or blue state is a causative factor in violent crime. I think both the violent crime rates and the political leanings of a state are the results of deeper, more complex and harder to isolate variables.

SrA John Monette - Murder and violent crime are up across the board.

SFC (Join to see) - And in my opinion it's not attributable to blue or red or purple or green. Just like everything else, it's cyclical. If it goes down under a Democrat, they'll say they caused the decrease. Just like a Republican would.

SrA John Monette - You don't see a cause and effect in the DA's across the nation not enforcing our laws? OK, then we just have to agree to disagree.

I believe its the stupid state legislatures that refuse to admit there a people who are just bad regardless of how they were bought up and how they were raised.
One was my cousin who thought it would be 'interesting' to see if he could rob a store. He always was an asshole even when he was boy and later when he was teen he was always trouble. He killed two and wounded two. A man in the back of the store was armed and killed him dead, saving 3 other customers. Ask me why I have a CCW and always carry.
May his victims Rest In Peace and may he never find peace in Hell.
