It appears she just doesn't have the tools to do the job, and worse yet she doesn't have the temperament to learn the job. She is a lawyer hack plain and simple.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - She was talking about a European wide war. It isn't too hard to get that. OMG, I've listened to people defend Trump's verbal diarrhea for entire presidency. This isn't even in the same ballpark of cringe worthiness.

If that's the phrase you are complaining about, then it isn't what she said, it's the D next to her party affiliation.

European wide? The Balkans involved the same area which started WWI and even had major NATO involvement. A Chinese Embassy was even accidently bombed, which could have escalated things significantly. Also, the Cold War was far more of a tense situation than this Ukranian escalation has managed to become. The point here is, she mis-spoke, she sounded very unprepared, and it wasn't presidential. To me it has nothing to do with the "D" next to her name, but I can absolutely imagine how much the "D"s would jump all over Trump had he said it.

I completely understand instances in which politicians mis-speak and overlook historical and/or the big picture. It happens. However, for VP Harris it has become a trend. She needs to stay away from the spotlight as I believe she is making things worse. Note, I used to say Trump needs to get off the microphone/social media too, as his rhetoric was also not very presidential, so please, stop pushing the rationalization of "Trump did it too".

Getting back to the statement, let's break it down. What was she trying to convey? That war in Europe could break out and this is the closest we've come to that in 70 years? That would be wrong. The Balkan Wars challenged that assertion (I don't know about you, but I was personally deployed in support of that event), as did the Cold War, as does the fact Russia invaded Georgia in 2008. So, what about this invasion, that in 70 years, is different, with regards to maintaining peace and security?

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin - The Balkins were very regional, very contained. It had the potential to become larger, but it didn't. Similarly Ukraine has the potential to get larger, but I doubt it will either so I agree that we can go with she misspoke or wasn't paying attention. I suspect she was thinking about WW II and blew this up (pardon the pun) too much larger than both of us think it will be.

I go to the "rationalization" that Trump did it too because while you may have called for Trump to get off the stage, many others did not. Most very much said he should stay on the stage. But I'll be happy to issue a mea culpa if I got your position wrong.

I really don't see too much of a pattern from her because I don't see her much at all.

SPC Kevin Ford - She proved she can't handle herself in prime time. Lecturing people who live in Europe about what went on here, like they don't know what war is about more than she does. She is not winning the United States any allies plain and simple.
