MCPO Roger Collins - Not to worrier, MasterChief Collins, the last and ONLY time I was on one of your boats, A typhoon hit us between Okinawa and Taiwan. After about 2 days on an LST, I turned green and almost died. I promise myself that I would NEVER get onto another boat/ship that people were trying to kill me.True story!!!!

GySgt Jack Wallace Submarines can run deep and you can sleep like a baby. Although, not so good years ago on the old diesel submarines. My last time ferrying Jarheads was during Vietnam Nam.

MCPO Roger Collins - Well, Top. Don't have to ever worrier about me or giving me a little ride. Like most Marines , next time I'll just walk or ride in a chopper. Just think Top you were just one step away from being a Marine. Good night, be safe and Semper Fi to what was almost.Lol................

GySgt Jack Wallace - When I went to the Induction Center in Oct. of '66, The Marines were really getting their butts kicked in Nam Brother Jack. So, as I was in line to join the Navy, somebody came in and told us to count from 1 to 4 and every 4 was going to be in the Marines so I was one number away from being a Marine.

Those aren’t pockets, they’re gloves, standard issue.
