American figure skaters must leave Beijing without medals, Olympic court rules

MAJ Dale E. Wilson, Ph.D. This issue has the potential to wreak havoc within the games. The entire Olympic games, both winter and summer could be in jeopardy in the future. Why would an athlete work and train year round between both summer and winter games only to come home without medals?

This is a disgrace. And the IOC has ruined the Olympics by not following their own rules. One, Russia was supposed to be banned from these games for doping their athletes but somehow they are competing anyway; second China should not be hosting and third, violating their own rules about awarding medals. Time to fix the mess or for world athletes to step away
