For the excellent work these woman did in the service of their country the acknowledgement of their contributions was long overdue. It's too bad many of these ladies have passed on over time and didn't get that thanks for a job well done within their lifetime.

I don't understand what took so long to recognize these women Heroes for what they did. Morale is so important to the troops on the front. To me this is on a par with a Medical Group not receiving recognition for saving wounded personnel's lives, it should be just plain common sense.
