As far as I know there is no universal standard for charging on electric vehicles, not enough thought is going into this with the auto industry. Also in my opinion we are just trading one dirty fuel for another.

There seems to have been no thought given to infrastructure to support this. I see this as decades away. We need fossil fuels as a transition and at the lowest cost possible since it is incorporated into the cost of everything
