It's not as hard as I thought it was going to be.. I passed it no problem at age 58. I still feel it's going to hurt retention.. I normally scored between 280 and 300 most of my military career the career. I'm glad they have an alternative event for the tuck. Using the blank is an alternative is a good way to prevent good people from not getting Battalion or Brigade or Division command.

All of these studies just to make a test that is extremely hard to administer and the ultimate conclusion is that it can't determine combat fitness.

Woke army introduces easier combat fitness test that lowers standards
The Army is changing several of its fitness test exercises including the dreaded leg tucks in favor of planksbecause about half of all female soldiers were unable to complete the exercise.
