Marjorie Taylor Greene launches bizarre attack on Pete Buttigieg over girls bathrooms

Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene on Saturday made a series of bizarre accusations regarding Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg and husband Chasten while speaking at former president Donald Trump’s most recent political rally in Commerce, Georgia.
Ms Greene, who at times has made statements questioning whether the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks were an “inside job” and expressed support for the QAnon conspiracy theory holding that a secret cabal of cannibalistic paedophiles runs the US government. The Georgia representative appeared to claim that Mr Buttigieg and his husband have been attempting to enter women’s restrooms via bicycle or electric car.
“You know what? Pete Buttigieg can take his electric vehicles and his bicycles and he and his husband can stay out of our girls’ bathrooms,” she said.

Well, my local VA campus does have GN bathrooms. Clearly marked with both gender symbols on the doors. Interestingly enough, although the census of this facility is of an older generation, there are also "baby-changing" stations in some of the clinics. I have never met anyone on the campus who objects to these conveniences. It's the 21st century folks, let's stop behaving as if we live in the middle ages.

SrA John Monette Cpl Vic Burk We all need to be real here, if you know without a doubt the gender of the person going to the bathroom next to you, they are either flaunting or you are staring to get a look. I never know, never look, and either need to add some yellow to the toilet water or drop the kids off, and get the hell out. If you are dude dressed like a girl and do any bit of a good job, sit your ass down, do your business and get out. A visit to the bathroom does not need to be a tell all story for Oprah or Jerry Springer...

MSG Stan Hutchison - I remember a story a few years back about an elected official doing that. Maybe not with a young boy, but he was in a men's room either propositioning or actually doing something.

SrA John Monette - Belated response...you refer to the Larry Craig scandal of 2007. He was a Republican senator from Idaho who got arrested for propositioning for sex in a men's bathroom at an airport. He plea bargained to a misdemeanor and resigned from the US Senate due both the scandal and allegations of previously seeking gay prostitutes.
