This might tick people off, but it's an opinion, no law against it. Minors- we don't let them buy alcohol, Vaps or cigarettes/cigars, guns, some states don't even let them buy edged weapons. They can't sign contracts or anything that we people have decided maybe detrimentally to their health/well-being. We keep them in school cause it has been explained that they are not mature enough to make such decisions. But now folks are saying if the kids say that they are the "Wrong gender" we should go out of our way to "fix them". Who in the Hell are the people who push this? If they are male- castration drugs are permanent and can't be undone- surgery as well- so any chance of an aw shit is gone forever. I grow up with gays, we considered them to be different, but they were people and we accept their difference, and they didn't try to push it down our throats. Why in the blue blazes, can't parent's/ people leave them alone to grow up without trying to hang a sign around their neck, and when they are adults-make their own decisions and pay for it themselves?

The last thing I would want to hear, when my daughters were in Elementary school (or even high school). Was the teacher telling them or asking if they thought they should be a different sex. At that age child don’t know and don’t wish or need to know.
And I (as a Father) would knock the block of their shoulders if anybody told me, they were trying to talk my girls into getting hormone treatments or an addadicktome.

SGT Dani W. - It's child abuse to let children take permanent actions that will effect their lives long term before they are smart enough to make those decisions. If you are an adult and want to take hormones and pretend you are the opposite sex, that's your decision. If you aren't responsible enough to drink a beer, why would I consider that person capable making a decision that alters their lives long term, perhaps permanently.

If you think science supports transgender, you need to go back to school. I would think that the fiasco of allowing transgender men to compete in female sports would drive home the point that hormones don't change biological sex. You can't fool genetics.

What is it you think I said about any minority children?I don’t want any children to be taught something that at that age they should be burdened with.
Please reread my comments and inform me o what I said that was wrong?SGT Dani W.

The article is about 13 to 17 year olds. And uses Doctors to virtue signal transgenderism. The legislation being forwarded is about sex education being taught in schools ,at specific ages and without parental consent. Like. In Florida the opposition to the legislation was “don’t say gay” which really had nothing to do with the bill. MSG Roy Cheever
