What effect will Walmart's removal of confederate flags have on diehard rednecks?

Walmart decides to stop selling all confederate flag merchandise in its stores. In my home state, I seriously know many people who will cheer that decision, but maybe more who will be furious. I applaud the decision. But on a lighter note, I wonder how Walmart's decision will effect the diehard redneck shopper? How do you think they will respond? Granted, redneck is a lifestyle and not to be equated with racism. But on the trucks, shirts and belt buckles of the true rednecks I know, they are proud to display the flag.

I find the photograph degrading. I support the Confederate battle flag and believe it is HERITAGE not hate. Doing some research on "redneck" I located this "While there are differing versions of the term’s origin, the first use of “redneck” appears to refer to the Scottish Covenanters of the 17th century, an independence movement created in response to England’s King Charles I, who took steps to bring Scotland’s Presbyterian church under his control. In 1638".

While I applaud retailers for making a public stand, ultimately it won't change a thing. There are still yard sales, flea markets, and Ebay.
I live in the South (foothills of the Smokey Mountains) but I don't see the need to flash a Confederate battle flag everywhere I go. Sure, I'm proud of my Southern heritage but I don't see the need to display a symbol many equate to slavery, racism, and worse.

First off Wal-Mart will survive. As for the aforementioned Rednecks they will find another source. The problem is society the division of people the way people make a stand to state their particular views, morals, beliefs and race. America needs to realize history occurred put it in the B pile of importance (cannot change, museum ) as for growth and prosperity we as Americans need to move on. Control what we can and accept change.
