Some quick trivia--
Carole King was born Carol Klein. When she began performing decades later, she had her name legally changed to "Carole King". As "klein" is German for "small," she hit upon "King" to change the name and its meaning to its opposite. She's been honored at the Kennedy Center Honors for being an iconic and prolific songwriter-performer. Even though she's essentially retired from most performing, she is still the #1 female recording star on the British charts in terms of hit songs. In her "regular life" she goes by "Carole King Klein".
She went to high school in New York with Neil Sedaka, and they dated for some time. His song "Oh! Carol" refers to her.

SMSgt Anil Heendeniya I didn't know that... thanks for sharing that... learned something new today. My two favorite female singers would b e her & Jaren Carpenter. I haven't heard many of Neil Sedaka's songs... think I'll post the album that started playing after this one ended.
