Community reacts after Grain Valley Schools orders teachers to remove LGBTQ safe space stickers

I dunno.....perhaps if some parents would teach themselves and their kids to NOT be douchebags and to treat others respectfully as they themselves want to be treated....not to mention that the schools need to step up and actually....I dunno, call me crazy here....actually take action against students that bully and attack other students.

"Having those stickers in the classroom is a sign to them, a non-verbal way to say that you can be trusted and you’re somebody who is going to take them seriously," Henson said.
Henson says he’s keeping the stickers up in his room and hope the district’s listening sessions on what to do next turns out to be helpful for all.
"If people sit down and authentically listen to what the stickers are about and what they are trying to accomplish in order to make all of our students feel accepted. I think they will be productive," Henson said.
