Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen
PO1 William "Chip" Nagel I'm more cynical than that, allows the dust to settle before the ruling which will come out too close to midterms.

CW4 Guy Butler I think Roberts is playing 5D chess. Stare decisis is VERY important to him and I think he’s also savvy enough to know what this decision will do to the both the perception of the court and the country. I think he arranged for the leak to put the holy roller 5 in the pressure cooker
SGT (Join to see)
The original Roe v Wade opinion was leaked before it became public. That was a 7-2 decision with 5 republican appointed Justices supporting the decision.
Now the senior judge in the majority opinion writes the opinion and in this case it wasn't Robert's but Alito's. It was also a draft opinion. Also controversial opinion come out at the end of the current turn

Thats exactly right...they leaked what they wanted the public to see...no the whole truth...that is the crux of the problem.

She makes some very good points. Especially the one about with the overturning of Roe it doesn’t further or enhance any rights, it takes away rights!
This really does set a bad precedent going forward for a lot of other “rights” that are blanketed under the 14th Amendment and I agree with her that there are those who will jump on this to try and get other “rights” overturned!
