He was re-elected mayor in a majority black municipality three times after this incident. Yes he needs to address it better, but he’s gonna steamroll the tv doctor in November. I was in Braddock just last weekend and while it still has a long way to go, the changes he implemented are substantial and noticeable

I think Fetterman is an interesting character. I live in Philadelphia, and almost everyone who is a Democrat supports him. I am still unsure about who to vote for in the general election, as I am not an Oz fan.

We have bigger worries in Philly, like getting rid of Krasner, the incompetent DA.

I’m in Pittsburgh and I have to say this is a guy who walks through walk. Dig into his backstory and see how he ended up in Braddock, it’s pretty impressive. The long story short version is he’s from a wealthy family and was on his way to making it wealthier himself and decided to make a difference. And he put a lot of that money into Braddock while he was mayor.

I'll read up on him! I am a Republican, but I don't care which political party someone belongs to, as long as they can back up their claims. If that's the case, he seems like a good choice. Thanks for the info!

SPC Miguel C. I voted majority Republican until 2016 but I’ve always supported Fetterman. I’d rather have someone with integrity that I disagree with than someone who is just going to tell me what I want to hear. He’s pretty liberal in a lot of ways but he’s honest and has zero pretense.
