In all this they are only talking about band aids for this problem of people willing to commit multiply murders. The problem stems from a combination of: mental illness, a lack of Christian Ethics about right and wrong, glorified violence in media, the creation of gun free zones that make soft targets, our government allowing violent criminals back on the street (DA’s and Sanctuary Cities) with less than a slap on the wrist, and most of all broken families (or families that never were) because their isn’t a responsible man in the house.
To me just speaking about restricting/taking people’s guns away from them (gun control) and mental health is disingenuous. Not addressing all the problems I outlined above will never work. I hear all the people who say we have to start somewhere, well if this is true start with ethics, mental health and fathers; then you can start to work on the rest. MHO’s

We should be addressing first school security country wide, then we need to talk and address the mental health problems in this country first and foremost.

The problem was solved over 70 years ago and destroyed over the last 20 years. Our Progressive Democrats closed most of the institutions that cared for mentally ill people over the law 20 years. I don't see them able to build new ones, or even more difficult finding adequate staff doe them. What did they do with the funding that was used to operate these institutions? The staff that ran them moved into different areas and/or retired. Our Progressive Democrats literally destroyed the safety net for the mentally ill in our society spinning justifications that amounted to lies along the way. How sad for our Country.

I remain concerned about the lack of mental health support and facilities for the potentially dangerous and the release of those known to be dangerous. to me the core of the problem for which I have no solution is the willingness of men to create people but not support them.

The family as the main organization with a mother and a father, not the government, teaching their children "their" values; it appears too many parents bought into letting government schools taking over their responsibilities.
There were many institutes that tended to our mentally ill population, they were closed down by politicians for cost savings that they spent toward their socialist policies give aways. How sad for our Country.

It's easy to point to a tool as the fault of the evil that is going on in our society, when in reality it is the violence our government is teaching children by not holding people accountable for their actions. Responsibility is the key and typically atheists are the people tearing down good moral standards with cute funny cartoons about how bad religion and anything good is. MHO
