I am not a fan of Michael Reagan, Lt Col Charlie Brown, but I sure believe that Michael Reagan gave it to us straight and to the point... It is all of our responsibility to Red Flag someone with a mental issue who needs help before going off the deep end and killing one or more with a weapon, be it a gun or a knife or other weapon...

If someone is having a mental health issue to where we are taking their property then they must be taken to the hospital by LEO. If weapons are being removed because they are risk to themselves or others that is grounds for emergency detainment. No exceptions, if weapons go to PD then person to ER.

Yes. right on, The parents need to recognize and control their children. The schools need trained security or allow their teachers to be trained and to carry weapons themselves. If the teachers don't want top carry then teach them how to shut the class room down and have all the students lay down on the inside wall that connects to the hall way that the shooter comes down. If they can't lock the classroom door then have the teacher take the fire extinguisher and use it to blind the attacker and bludgen him with it after blinding him with a spray to the face. Educate them and practice, practice, practice.
