This is an extremely serious charge and it is highly likely that Donald and his allies are guilty of this as well. Looking forward to all the facts during the televised hearings. No doubt that the MEGA MAGA promoters will deflect, distract and denigrate all fact tellers.

I hear tell that FOX is not covering them. No surprise here!

SSgt (Join to see) - Once again, we could have had an independent bi-partisan committee. The Democrats pushed for that. You will have to talk to the Republicans in Congress about why we didn't get that.

SPC Kevin Ford - The news that I saw showed the Dems *rejecting* several Reps. As far as I know the board is all Dems now. But go along with the narrative if you wish. I won't stop you...

SSgt (Join to see) - The Dems rejected several reps that we added in bad faith, knowing those reps would be some of those under the microscope. Once again, they did that knowing they would need to be rejected so you could make this argument. I suspect you know they were added in bad faith too.

In bad faith? Oh! I get it! The ones that don't bend a knee to the Democrat machine. Gotcha! "If you play by OUR RULES we will let you on the committee."

By the time I had finished the first paragraph of this linked article, I had reached my MDR (Maximum Daily Requirement) of brain-killing sarcasm, condensation, and false information. Still, I forced myself to read on. Why? Never turn your backs on the SOBs

CPT Jack Durish - The story states what the charges were. You may not agree with the charges, but that was the charge. The individuals in the story were charged with seditious conspiracy. That is a fact... plain and simple, that they were charged, regardless of how you "feel" about it. The reporting was accurate and unbiased. Are you claiming that they were not charged with seditious conspiracy?

Look, there are many of your Trump loving kind who simply are not smart enough to parse accurate information from bullshit. I would like to think you are smart enough, though you have given me very little evidence to support that claim.

MSgt Steve Sweeney - Again, what sedition? These people have been charged with sedition because they are figureheads of a movement that threatens the Left in America. You see sedition because some journalists trumpet sedition and you've bought into their narrative. I don't see sedition because I know what sedition is and I haven't seen any evidence of it. The prosecutors can say what they like, but I have less respect for them than you have for PragerU. I don't pay attention to American journalists because I've seen the evidence that they are not practicing journalism, they are practicing propaganda. So I look elsewhere to understand what is going on. There are many videos (raw, unedited videos) of the events on Jan 6, and I've seen no evidence of sedition. I've seen Americans protesting a highly questionable election. Questionable because I don't like the results? No. Questionable because I've seen evidence of fraud, evidence that has yet to be litigated. I've seen videos of Americans exercising their First Amendment Right to seek redress for the grievances. I saw them marching peacefully around the Capitol. I've seen videos of them negotiating with Capital police who then welcomed them into the Capitol building. I've seen videos of them walking respectfully in single file through the Capitol rotunda. And I've seen the staged photos of Pelosi, AOC, and others cowering behind locked doors pretending to be afraid for their lives (just as AOC was photographed alongside a chainlink fence purportedly cages full of children abused by President Trump). Yes, that kind of staging for political effect. So again, what sedition?

CPT Jack Durish - The news article reported the charge. It doesn't matter if you agree with it or not, the charge was seditious conspiracy. It will get argued in the courts. The reporting was accurate. I could give a shit less what you think about the veracity of the charge. The journalism was top notch. The fact was that the people in the article were charge with seditious conspiracy and that is exactly what the news article reported. They didn't say they were guilty. NPR simply reported the facts as they are. Are you sure you have had legal training? Like any at all? From which cereal box did you get your alleged "Juris Doctorate"? It is not surprising at all that you don't know the difference between journalism and propaganda, just like a fish that doesn't know it is swimming in water.

Maybe if it was a consulate in Libya that was attacked you would think differently.

I hope this goes to trial. I'd love to hear the prosecution's case on this.

Looking at the grand jury indictment makes it pretty clear what they think their case is.

Looking forward to the trial myself. Too bad Kyle Rittenhouse was found guilty and sentenced to 3 life sentences...

Oh! Wait! What am I thinking?! I know what that was. CNN and the other big blue stations all said he was guilty and would be lucky to get out of jail before he was an old man - or something to that effect. Truly accurate reporting!

SPC Kevin Ford - What the prosecutor thinks their case is and what the jury makes of it all are two completely different things. Like Keith says, Kittenhouse was a perfect example.
