..."Kahana's remarks drew condemnation from Palestinian Israeli lawmakers and from his own coalition members. Opposition lawmaker Ahmad Tibi tweeted in response that he would make Kahana “disappear from the government and the Knesset,” Israel's parliament. Michal Rozin, a lawmaker in the coalition with the dovish Meretz party, said the remarks were “more than intolerable.”

After the uproar, Kahana posted on Twitter that some of the remarks within his speech were “worded poorly."

“I referenced that both Jewish and Arab populations aren’t going anywhere," Kahana said. "As such, we must work to live in coexistence. Our coalition is a courageous step towards this goal.”

Iran has a Roque A-bomb program and they also say they want to wipe Israel off of the map.

Going by what I've seen from the press, the ONLY way they will defend Israel for defending themselves, is is the muslims attack Israel with a nuke. But even then, it's questionable. Today's mainstream news media will probably find a way to twist it to being Israel's fault that the muslims nuked them.

I can understand the sentiment, especially in 1967; and since then how many rockets have been launched by the Palestinians into Israel. In my viewpoint there’s nothing wrong with saying that you want to eliminate a threat to your country, and doing so peacefully.
