Here's right just because you don't agree with him doesn't make him wrong. We're the only developed nation that doesn't have abortion rights or national paid parental leave programs. Look at how well Denmark takes care of their new mothers. If the government doesn't wanna pay for this then they must force businesses to compensate for parental leave.

Maj Kevin "Mac" McLaughlin when the surpreme court passed this there should have been stipulations that went along with it. No one under the age of possibly 60 knows of a time without Roe vs Wade. You're going to see unrest worse than the Floyd riots. This time they won't be in the cities they're going for America's heartland. I will also add the nations that may have legal or illegal abortion in some aspect also provide social nets for first time mother's that we don't. If you don't want the mother to abort than you better be ready to help support her up to a certain point. I don't see how this nation can ever come back from Roe vs Wade. In my lifetime I believe this contentinet is going to be made up of smaller nation states. An ultimately this could very well be what people want. I can no longer see a compromisable way forward. We be damned. We are going to enter a decade of unrest not seen since the late 60s and early 70s and who knows we may have political proxy wars among the sides. The left better start learning how to shoot while they can and the right better continue hoarding ammo because Roe vs Wade could be the flint to ignites the next civil war. The last time we had a civil war it was over a states right to own a life and now it's going to be over the states right to regulate life itself.

SSgt (Join to see) in fact I am if it means all life is preserved. We already have over crowded and underfunded orphanages. And underfunded child care system in place . The vast majority of women who can't abort will turn their kids over to the state. The very thing the rights been fighting against. When you spend your whole life in the system between home after home you either end up in prison or on the streets. It's a give and take process. You wanted Roe vs Wade overturned you better be prepared to pay for the outcomes. The Republican states make up the bulk of welfare funds from the federal programs with the expection of Oregon and New York. I'm sure NYC is the bulk of the funds for that state. By abolishing abortion I'm sure Republican states will make up the top 10 going forward.

I see you've given up on the suggestion that what Biden said was the truth. You've in turn conceded that other countries ban it to some degree but then go on some tangent about the system they have to support it. Are you telling me you haven't heard all the politicians and even some businesses chime in and insist they will cover abortions, pay for trips across state lines, and then some? Seems to me a system is already forming and we only just got the decision today. You've also failed to account for the many Non-profits and faith-based organizations which have offered to take in unwanted babies. There are literally waiting lists for parents trying to adopt babies. How about we encourage this?

What you suggest in stipulations by the SCOTUS is ridiculous and not how the Constitution works. You don't legislate from the bench. If you have a problem with the ruling not inserting some accommodations, blame Congress for not taking on the issue by passing a law over the last 50 years. While you cannot see the country moving forward, I actually can, because now the ball is in the court for the states and/or Congress, where it should have been in the first place. Let the people decide and actually come up with answers that don't say you 100% can or 100% can't have an abortion. THAT is what has already been the 50-year debate in this country ever since Roe won her case (and later regretted it). I have come across few people in this debate who believe it needs to be 100% one way or the other, and so many more who believe there should be some restrictions. Those I see on TV protesting either side essentially are the ones pushing for absolutes.

This issue is not going to cause a civil war. That would be stupid, counter-productive, and pointless.

Even without throw versus Wade being taken down. This misguided Administration ruins everything it touches. After November, the political party of President Biden will be the outlier and minority after January 20th, 2023.

Isn't President Biden's latest dumb move of calling all the oil Executives to come explain their profits but yet not meet them but go to union meeting and meet people who can sell us large wind equipment from China? I think next week he takes his Air Force One to Saudi Arabia claiming he's not going to meet the Saudi Crown Prince and he's going to pretend to not beg for more oil even though we have enough oil to take care of ourselves for hundreds of years and enough coal to take care of ourselves for 800 years but this Administration is too woke. President Biden and Nancy Pelosi may claim to be Catholic but they now belong to the Church of the green New Deal
