7 years old - but still a great read! The current war itself tells us that we might have studied the Crimean campaign of WW2 a little - and learned from it. Instead most do not know about it at all. Our focus of WWII in Europe has always been from D-Day onward in France and NW Europe, and before in Egypt and Libya. The Italian Front was not the greatest moment for US military and is less studied. The Eastern Front had some major battles studied - but not operations and campaigns.
