What is happening here? Why are these politicians stopping something that I believe everyone can be for? They say disadvantage, well what is it now?

Well, this seems typical of the US Congress! How can veterans get great care if the facilities they are forced to get their care in are not up to speed. Look at a place like Salisbury, NC VA that is in a host of older buildings.
That campus, I have visited a few times, because I know of the physicians that work there, is in desperate need of singular comprehensive medical facility that is not spread all over hell's half-acre!
Great people who want to serve our vets better, but need the kind of facilities that will do their medical professionalism justice!!!
