The game was already over, and nobody coerced anyone to join him in prayer.

Left-Wing Playbook, pg. 38, para. 2(b): Privilege: Vehemently claim "privilege" and the moral "high ground", in order to shut down any conversation in which you are losing the debate.

As a non-denominational Christian, I have been subjected to literally hundreds of prayers with which I did not personally align. I went along with what I could and ignored the rest. I find it completely and totally INOFFENSIVE when someone prays to a different god or in a different manner. I even take it as a sign or respect when others pray to their god(s) to look over me, even if I do not believe in said god(s). We need to stop taking offense at things that are done or meant in kindness or even done neutrally.

And yes, I have been prayed over by Muslims, Jews, Wiccans, Universalists, Bahai'i and a Hindu. I have been joined in prayer by the first 4 of the above. I have received felicitations from Atheists with no God to pray to.
