Until he's convicted, media outlets have to use suspected or alleged.

Why he signed for his son to get a permit to puchase firearms, AFTER he had threatened suicide and family members is quesitonable. Other articles note that the kid's mother was rather nasty, and the father never took any interest in his son. Now, their attorney says there were no, "red flags," which is grossly inaccurate.
I suspect Dad will have some serious legal issues; if not criminal, certainly civil.
