COL (Join to see) fatherhood's most important responsibility is knowing when to say "NO" ... and get the child the help needed... when they display the need the first time.

He is no longer a suspected shooter, he has confessed!

Why he signed for his son to get a permit to puchase firearms, AFTER he had threatened suicide and family members is quesitonable. Other articles note that the kid's mother was rather nasty, and the father never took any interest in his son. Now, their attorney says there were no, "red flags," which is grossly inaccurate.
I suspect Dad will have some serious legal issues; if not criminal, certainly civil.
