What mazes Me ids the press actually covered this event. usually they will ignore anything that an armed person has done to bring a madman with a gun under control. We grieve the loss of life and injury that nut job did but are thankful an armed citizen took Him out and saved additional loss of life. I'm certainly in favor of removing firearms from nut jobs and keeping issue to people of good character and also seeing that they are trained to properly and safely handle firearms.
One attack I'm aware of in Massachusetts where the attacking party another nut job had used a knife to attack another person and also a Doctor in a Hospital (multiple stab wounds to both) a friend of mine, whom I had worked an Armed Federal Contract with who now had another armed Security service job ( after the Obama Administration put us all on unemployment) shot and killed the assailant. He did have the proper training a saved the Doctors life, (19 stab wounds) That former coworker later became a Massachusetts State Trooper.
