Survey raises serious questions about the future of the all-volunteer force

Year after year we hear political and military leaders debate the need for bigger military budgets. 9 out of 10, they get yhe budget increases they want. Meanwhile, we also hear complaints about military readiness concerns with training and equipment, personnel shortages, quality of life burdens on families and veterans, and how financial lenders, landlords, etc are price gouging military folks. And every year i want to ask those leaders "where the hell is all the money going if not to address these concerns consistently?" It's a rhetorical question as we all know the answer: financial mismanagement and corruption.

How about cutting out the political correctness, "woke" training, the booting of Joe Soldier/Sailor out because of mandatory Covid vaccines, and the fact that Top Leadership has sucked all the fun out of being in the military which has led to Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines with serious experience/time invested are getting tired of the BS and are getting out even though a whole lot of them aren't even eligible to retire. That and getting some of the REMF's to take an active theater role and man a watch tower or go out on Patrol; that would go a long way towards alleviating the multiple-tour Soldiers/Marines getting out because they've already had enough combat action to last a lifetime.
