Seriously, you have to be pretty mean just to say something insulting. We have no idea what the real relationships were back then so it's easy to say something mean when no one is around to defend it. The following site may enlighten you, if possible:

CPL Douglas Chrysler - Sometimes it’s not east to discern right from wrong, especially from a long time ago. I always say a person needs to be judged against the canvas of time when they lived. The problem with our current Woke Mob is they want to judge everything against today’s standards; how convenient for them. Looking at what would be right or legal from a very long time ago isn’t easy, but it’s what we should strive to do.
