NC town’s entire police force quits in protest over progressive town manager

I can't say who is in the right here. There just isn't any information in the story about what the conflict is. I see two possibilities. One possibility, the town manager is completely anti-police or just a nasty person making it heck to go to work. The other possibility is that the police are used to running roughshod over justice with no accountability, accountability she is now bringing to the department. Or even potentially something in between. Hard to say from the facts presented here.
