It sux that they have to go to court to get what they worked so hard for @SFC Bernard Walko.

It's just not right! A court is what approved GM from taking this compensation away from retirees in the first place.

Agree, but I don't like this part - it's literally the government (tax payers0 underwriting GM's betrayal to salaried employees, i.e.: "The legislation would require the government to "top up" the pensions of the salaried Delphi workers, as GM did for the unionized workers."
More and more companies betray their salaried, non-union employees while following the contracts they've had with their unions ... as they should in the case of union contracts. They should NOT be permitted to sacrifice the earned benefits (retirement pay and healthcare) of salaried employees. That's especially in view of how the government subsidized automakers during the last recession under Obama, and their dealerships with the Covid relief BS.
