Wow, that was a helluva battle for that Island...with heavy loss of life... Great Share, Lt Col Charlie Brown!!!

Alot of Marines thought Peleliu was an unnecessary battle. But it provided a glimpse of what was upcoming in future battles as we closed on Japan.
