Good for the 29th. After Normandy, they shouldn't have to worry about Civil War history hysteria.

My $.02 is that the US military has been an overwhelmingly useful force for the betterment of the world since our Civil War. The harvest and bounty of that goodness outweighs and outshines the genesis of the names and in most cases are the penultimate gold standard of how to "war"...
