I have been a licensed realtor going on 24 years. to see the head of NAR in those days say he “is against forced housing” (as he related to civil rights} was appalling. Laws have been added since, but discrimination still exist-just in new ways or on the “back-end” side (I.e,approval for finance, appraisals and values, property tax, etc. I will be sharing this with realtor group for discussion. thanks for sharing!"

Separating Parts Of Town Being For The Purpose Of Separating Races, Was Called "Red-Lining".
I'd Not Doubt It Continues Today, But It's Just Not Talked About...
I Was Stationed In Arkansas From 1961 - 1964, During Segregation. Not Having Had The Experience Previously, It'll 'Knock Your Socks Off' When You Discover, Taking A Friend Of Another Race, Into Little Rock, Is An Impossibility If You'd Planned To Live Very Long..
It Was One Hell Of An Undesirable Experienced For Us Inexperienced Yankees.
