1. Your article is old and publication date is from 2007.
2. The scientists from the letter are in unrelated fields and politically biased. One of them, Antonino Zichichi, specializes in nuclear physics instead of environmental science. He is also associated with the Heartland Institute, a conservative think tank.

I have one from 2015. https://larouchepub.com/pr/2015/151230_global_warming.html

Bias from Scientists?
We see how Main Stream media will not publish stories on the Hunter Biden Laptop nor of of Busiiness Partner of Hunter Tony Bobulinski diming out Candidate Biden and Hunter Biden's business dealings was also ignore by most news organizations before the election ON PURPOSE so there is bias in the media. There is a schism and like I said, I am not going to change my behavior to the Church of the Green New Deal. Climate Change hysteria takes money away form Defense spending while our Enemies threaten the US.
Look at what is happening with Speaker Pelosi's trip to Taiwan and the military exercises. POTUS still has his head wrapped around Climate Change while China plans to Strike/Invade to Taiwan.

I'm concerned by those who deny the effects of climate change because it affects their portfolio bottom line. Whatever the cause the effects are real and as thinking people we should do whatever we can to mitigate those effects. If that means moving away from fossil fuels intelligent people should be pursuing that technology, not badmouthing it. Plus guess what, those technologies can lead to companies that will build up those portfolios for people who think ahead rather than remaining in the past.

Non energy stocks snapshot:
Best Buy-31%, Computer chip maker AMD -26%, Ford -11%, General dynamics + 13%, General Motors -37%, JP Morgan - 30%, Macy's -31%. Chrysler is now called to Stellantis -20%, Netflix down over 60%.
All my oil stocks are up except for Occidental petroleum because I bought it last week. Lately, even profit from companies companies result in the stock price drop or Revenues go down and price goes up such as Netflix that was down 66% 3 weeks ago.

Suncor energy and Cenovus are Canadian oil companies.

This week on Fox business news, If president Biden Reduces emissions by 50%, oil prices will go up and layoffs will go up in the oil industry. This is being discussed on a business channel and I believe it is true. So I am diversified between energy and retail and high Tech. This is not included everything I have yet my energy stocks are the only ones really going up with the exception Is defense contractor general dynamics.

The stock market has gone down since November once this stimulus money started going in. The downturn continued especially After Putin's invasion of Ukraine. Oil prices are going down in part because of President Biden taking 25% of the oil reserve out And speculators expecting that the economy is going to slow down O down with this many recession.

I have no problem with using some clean energy but they want to get rid of all fossil fuels which make up about 70 to 80% of the electricity generated right now and they want to disregard all kinds of nuclear when they have newer nuclear technology that is not explosive and that does not catch fire. I know right now or that Microsoft founder Bill Gates is Is experimenting with this technology.

LTC (Join to see) Got no problem with nuclear energy, it has problems sure but so does every source. It just doesn't hurt the envitonment just by doing it's thing like fossil fuels.
