Having spent time in a SKIF and handling classified documents, this I do know: there's a paper trail. The higher the classification, the longer and more complex the trail. Even if Donald Trump authorized the declassification of those documents, why weren't they marked declassified. There should also be documentation stating that these documents are in the process of being declassified.

The bigger question is whether it's a criminal or administrative matter. I'm not lawyer, I don't play one on TV and it's been a long time since I stayed at a Holiday Inn. Seems neither side wants to follow the rules. Either follow the procedures or get rid of the procedures.

It's called a SCIF. Not a SKIF. Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility.

He never "declassified" them. Someone watched too much Michael Scott and saw the episode he said "I declare bankruptcy!" That's not how it works and declassifying isn't just saying "it's declassified." Also it's funny how he went from it was all planted to it was declassified...

Love it. Honestly the most humorous thing about this whole affair is all the excuses the right is making about the classified documents......which aren't even the items under investigation.
