He was an awesome author, so much of what he wrote (both good and bad) has come into being...

Speaking of science-fiction; did you know that your last name is the same as one of the characters in the original Star Trek??? Specific episode: "The Gamesters of Triskelion". As soon as I saw your last name, I knew I knew it from somewhere, and it was driving me nuts trying to remember. It finally hit me yesterday afternoon. The character "Klug" was one of the alien "thrawls" for the gamesters. Just some fun science-fiction trivia I thought you might, possibly, enjoy. Whoops! I just looked it up, and they spell the character's name differently, (eg: Kloog), but they do pronounce it the same way. If you're interested, you can learn all about it on http://www.IMDB.com, (search for: cast/Star Trek the Gamesters of Triskelion, and it should come right up for you). I truly hope you enjoyed this little bit of trivia....assuming you didn't already know. Oh. IMDB = Internet Movie Data Base.

I've known about Heinlein as a science-fiction author for quite a long time now, (most of my life). This is the most I've ever learned about him outside of that endeavor. Thank you.

I totally grok that. I started reading him in the mid-'60s.
