I have been praying for these people but they should not have stayed, they had plenty of warning.

That helicopter is a lot more advanced than what I saw at Ft. Rucker, 50 years ago.

Good for the Coast Guard! Just taking care of business.
I'm always amazed when people stay in their homes whe hurricanes are coming. I understand why they stay. I can't say I for a fact I'd evacuate. Yeah, its just a house but you can't get back the memories.
