"How did Krispy Kreme perform in the second quarter?
In the second quarter, Krispy Kreme reported 7.5% revenue growth for its U.S. and Canada division. But it trimmed its full-year forecast for earnings and revenue, citing a stronger dollar and weaker performance from U.S. production hubs that don’t deliver to other locations."

I know the franchise owner of some of the 9 locations they are testing this in. This reminds me of the one time partnership McDonald's had with Cinnamelts. I am not sure that currently Krispy Kreme has the backing that Cinnamelt had at the time of the partnership, but I do see this doing well for a co-branding effort... which lets face it, is what this is all about. However, I do see short term success for this test. Either way the consumers of both brands win... now, let see how this effects the shareholders(if it takes off)? Being that I have a lot of stock still in McDonald's... hoping for a positive return if this launches nationally
