Where are the Cops? Frustrated Portland residents say police have ‘almost disappeared’

It appears most of them aren't that smart. I don't know but what happened to the population in Portland can happen elsewhere. If this continues half the Country will be at war with one another and as we learned in the 1860's there is a lot of pain and death in it.

SFC (Join to see) I was on 25-day orders. Done at 5:00 p.m. and spent most of the time watching local TV because they were covering the riots in Portland and in Seattle in real time. I verified through my former HSC Commander the story of the pimp hired by Seattle PD. I couldn't believe the story but this captain that I knew who worked in my section and later became the HAC Commander verified the story he now works for Everett Police Department. He is much happier and closer to home since my unit was in Marysville washington.

Now that Seattle has a shortage of at least 250 cops. Crime happens more often even though this state has completely legalization of all drugs but people can have concealed carry and open carry gun permits something that will drive other leftist Democrats totally bonkers. Anyways, she got shit thrown on her and she wonders why the police won't help? That's because 1/4 of the force has quit or been let go. Also, the first hundred officers that were let go were minorities and younger police officers. So the left and the Science of Stupid runs the city council of seattle.

The left forgets about those federal agents that were protecting the courthouse when industrial fireworks and Molotov cocktails were being thrown at them. Sure, a couple people got roughed up like one Navy former Navy person who was told to disperse and he didn't so he got hit by the Federal Officer and he was making a federal case about it but he didn't disperse when they were shooting tear gas. So when dick head Biden talks about threats to democracy, he totally forgets about Portland when this was all done by antifa and the black lying Marxist types. This was not done by the proud boys or other right-wing extremist groups but by the left and CNN said it was mostly peaceful LOL.

LTC (Join to see) - That's funny, and most humor has a bit, if not a lot, of truth in it. I live in rural Missouri now, and it amazes me how people think. Being a Navy dependent and then Active Duty for 24 years, I've had my share of living in big cities. I've also experienced rural living a couple of times, and for the most part, rural America is, for the most part, very friendly to their neighbors. However; I also believe it comes down to the "person". I have found very kind people everywhere we've lived, you just gotta look a little harder in the bigger cities, because they tend to not trust people as much. . . . . and that is something that is learned. I still lock my car everywhere I go, when I get out of it. But there are others here, that have lived here their whole lives, that will leave their keys in the ignition.

CPO David R. D. I have been to rural Pennsylvania just outside Amish country and those people leave their car keys on the front seat like you said. This was back in the late 1980s. I'm not sure if that's still the case today? I actually am from California but I lived in Republican Orange County and I left the United States and move to Canada back in 2006 when Arnold Schwarzenegger was governor. The Democrats back then weren't as hardcore. I remember that my girlfriend got a job with a democratic Congressman even though he was a democrat. He didn't care, he wanted someone with qualifications. He was a Democrat Jag officer and also in the army reserve. His name was Tom umberg. You probably don't know him I think he became the treasure for California under Jerry brown. They weren't rabid zombie Angry like Democrats are mostly today. There are very few Democrats like Senator m a n c h i n of West Virginia or senator s i n e m a of Arizona left in the Democratic Party. They won't work with others unless they are hardcore leftists. It's a sad State of Affairs yet stupid Hillary Clinton says this is not your dad's Republican Party. This is not the Democratic party that I voted for back in the late 90s. So I think the Democrats are going to get their asses handed to them seriously next week. They think they're on a Blues Brothers Mission from God and these Berkeley type politicians are going to be clinically depressed. Even Democrat Economist Larry Summers warned President Biden a year and a half ago that throwing two trillion dollars into the covid relief bill when 91% of it went to donors and only 9% went to actual covid relief was the pilot light that Lit this inflation downward spiral we are in now. Democrats were worn time and time again and they think we're stupid and only want to focus on January 6th or female abortion rights. Even the women on The View were saying that Republican women who don't care about abortion rights and care about other things are cockroaches.
Today I heard Herschel Walker talk on Larry Kudlow show defending his position because President Obama was saying that he is not designed or fit for office as a former football player if this guy's an independent businessman and has common sense. He's not like the pro Criminal candidate that's competing against Dr Oz who can't even speak a sentence because of his stroke.

The interview I heard a couple hours ago is not available yet but here is one from a couple of months ago. I don't think Herschel Walker is an idiot. He sounds pretty good considering he never finished his college degree. He doesn't sound brain dead like AOC even though she has any economics and human relations degree but she sounds like a total Airhead from the movie Clueless.
