1.) Reports: Accused Colorado nightclub gunman grandson of longtime East County politician

“Last year, Voepel faced criticism after he compared the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol to the American Revolutionary War.

“This is Lexington and Concord. First shots fired against tyranny,” Voepel told the Union-Tribune three days after the deadly Capitol riot.

“Tyranny will follow in the aftermath of the Biden swear-in on January 20th.”

Days later, Voepel said his comments were misconstrued. He said he did not intend to glorify the siege and said that the actions of Trump supporters at the Capitol were disgraceful.

“The left has their crazies and the right has their crazies, and I don’t support either one,” Voepel said. “I support the First Amendment and the ability to protest, as long as you keep it peaceful.”

“The motive for the Club Q mass shooting was unclear, and police were investigating whether it was a hate crime, Colorado Springs Police Department Chief Adrian Vasquez said at a news conference Sunday.

He said the shooter walked into the club and “immediately” opened fire, armed with a long rifle. At least two “heroic” people in the club confronted the shooter and stopped the attack, Vasquez said.”

2.) What we know about the Colorado Springs nightclub shooting suspect

“Authorities have named Anderson Lee Aldrich, 22, as the lone suspect in the deadly shooting at a gay nightclub in Colorado Springs, Colo., on Saturday night that left five people dead and at least 25 others injured.

Police recovered a long gun and a handgun from Club Q, a popular gay and lesbian bar in Colorado Springs. The New York Times reported that the suspect fired an AR-15 style rifle and was wearing body armor.”


* In June 2021, a man with the same name and age was arrested for making a bomb threat to a suburban neighborhood in southeast Colorado Springs, according to The Gazette, a local newspaper.

* Aldrich’s mother told police her son threatened her with a homemade bomb and other weapons, according to The Gazette.

* The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office evacuated the neighborhood and shut the area down until Aldrich came out of a house he was in.

* Aldrich was charged with two counts of felony menacing and three counts of first-degree kidnapping, but the charges were later dropped and the records were sealed.

* Colorado Gov. Jared Polis (D) said all indications were that it was the same person.

I love the 1st Amendment. Sooner or later people show you how much they think before they speak. Like a guy who doesn't know the difference between Fox News and SiriusXM.

The left is constantly blaming conservatives on ALL violent crimes even before the smoke clears from the guns. It’s amazing how quick they are in their attempts to blame conservatives, just to be proven wrong when the facts come out. Even when proven wrong they will never come back and apologize for blaming the right for their sloppy bias reporting and then set the record straight. The fact is their coverage will immediately stop if the shooter is found out to be an angry socialist democrat. No they’ll come back and attempt to find a way to blame conservatives, even when the facts don’t support them. They also refuse to recognize its their own weak soft on crime policies that drive the scumbag criminals to commit these shootings. These hypocrites just close their eyes and ears to the mass shootings being committed daily, weekly and monthly in these big blue cities like Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Houston, New York, DC and New Orleans just to name a few. What’s also telling is all those cities are being run by liberal democrats so it’s not important to report those crimes. Then we have the Biden administrations soft, to no concern about violent criminals flooding into our country from both our northern and southern borders. They intentionally close their eyes and ears when these scumbag illegal aliens invade our country and assault, rape and murder our citizens with illegal drugs and weapons. These hypocrites don’t care about all the violent crimes being committed against our citizens by these criminals so, they intentionally over looking these horrific crimes being committed by these ILLEGAL scumbags. It’s very evident that they don’t care about our citizens, especially if they’re conservatives. Democrats only care about the criminals and they are hoping these scumbags will eventually become future illegal voters when they start bending an ignoring our constitutional voting rights in hopes of staying in power at all cost. Liberals are to blame for 99% of the crimes being committed because of their illegal, weak, woke and broke anti American, pro crime policies and thats just the facts, don’t believe me just do the research because I have.
