No one can ever truly know the bravery, fear and misery these men went through during WWI. Living with rats, water, death and stupid leaders every day

My Grandpa on Dads side was in WW1, he was a Marine & was wounded in the Argon (spelling ?) forest he was shot in the hip and was gassed. He was in a wheelchair for the rest of his life.

Documentary on my wife's great great grandfather who was Canada's number two sniper and who died in combat. He is buried in France. I am in the dress blues at the first minute of the video after the credits and my wife's Auntie Marilyn is speaking about him.
