Most of the people I know with disability ratings deserve them. There are a few that don't.

I Don't Have The Numbers & They Might not Even Be Available, But If I Were Taking Bets,
My Money Would Be On The Side Which Says, " Before Receiving Their 1st Disability Check, Most Needed To Hire A Law Firm To Get It".

A1C Medrick "Rick" DeVaney - That would be incorrect. You can get the detailed reports on all types of VA claims (disability, education, etc.) from the 'Detailed Claims Data' information on the VA's report page*. This information goes back for a number of years (how far back depends on the type of report and what laws on data reporting were in effect).
According to the report, in FY24 over 2.5M claims were decided by the VA with an approval rate of over 60% and 1.3M of those claims were approved below the BVA level.
A more accurate comment would be, "the majority of claims are approved by the initial or at a higher level review without having to go to the VA's Boards of Veterans Appeals (BVA)" (since you wouldn't need a law firm involved below the BVA level).
Side note: Law firms have a slightly higher approval rate (42.7% vs the average of 35.2%) and lower denial rate (12.7% vs average of 16.4%) for appeals at the BVA but there is absolutely no reason to pay a lawyer below the VBA level. Get one of the VSOs to assist in your claim for no cost.
