I've noticed the oddest thing...there is never enough money in the budget to pay the staff appropriately but there is always enough money for senior executives to get bigger bonuses and better compensation packages...

The whole medical field is struggling since COVID! It is very sad and we must keep our fellow Hospital Heroes in our daily prayers!

I thought about being a travel CRNA, considering the pay was often greater than $100/hour but eventually gave up on the idea when my hospital changed who we worked for. We no longer were hospital employees but were now employed by an anesthesia company. With that change, my benefits were good plus a $30+k increase in salary didn’t hurt.
