Elon Musk's rapid changes at Twitter are risking the safety of its most vulnerable users around the world, including human rights activists, free speech advocates and marginalized people in autocratic countries, according to the social network's former head of trust and safety.
"People need to very thoughtfully and carefully weigh the costs and benefits of using Twitter, given their personal security situation," Yoel Roth, who resigned from his position as Twitter's Head of Trust & Safety, told All Things Considered host Ari Shapiro. "And that's a terrifying prospect to have to come to terms with, especially for many people who have spent the better part of a decade building a platform and an audience and a community on Twitter."
Since Musk completed his $44 billion purchase of Twitter in late October, the billionaire has upended the company and the platform, sowing chaos and confusion for employees, users and the advertisers it depends on.

So Government officials coordinating to suppress news and individuals speech is OK to you? You think we should be like China where first amendment rights are regulated by the government I got you a clue, not all liberals care about the poor either, is the CEO of FTX who looted retirement funds your example of “ caring about people” a good example of liberals who care? I mean he did give his parents a $16 million dollar house in the Bahamas. I also don’t care about the plight of some Americans. These people vote in the same idiots that think America can run on lithium batteries and fairy dust and crime does occur because they aren’t affected. I just pray to God these rope don’t move to my state and make it the hell hole they turned there State into.

Musk has posted texts laying out the coordination between Democrat Government officials and tweeter executives to suppress news stories and block private citizens use of the Twitter Social media platform to suppress news stories and tweets they didn’t like! Rho Khana was the only Democrat who thought this activity violated the first amendment! The safety chief was chief activist at twitter involved in this.

Rho Khana was wrong, the First Amendment doesn't apply to private publishers. If Elon Musk wants to run it differently, he can. That's the beauty of private ownership.
