The soft on crime Democrats is why Republicans have slowly but surely regained the house and now they have a one seat majority. So even though president Trump lost the election in 2020, Republicans gain some seats. They also gained seats in the midterms and many of these Republicans won because of their tough on crime stance that Democrats often don't want to follow through on because it contradicts the George Soros bleeding heart liberal mentality.
